Starting in August, RQ will offer repair service for your Nintendo Items:
NES:
NES Red Blinking Light / Pin Connector: $25
In our opinion the only way to get rid of that pesky Red Blinking light
is to modify your NES main board and replace your old 72-Pin Connector with a new one.
This should fix 99% of all of your NES problems.
The Works: $30*
Includes basic red blinking light repair, a new 72-pin connector, full cleaning of console and controllers (2 controller cleaning limit). We’ll get it working better than the first day you got it!
Controller Cleaning & Repair: $10*
We’ll take it apart, clean it up front top to bottom, and make sure that you’re ready to go for your next game night!
SNES & N64:
No Power? Game freezing up on you? Controller not responding? Bring it to RQ and we’ll see what we can do!
The Works: $30*
Includes basic repair, full cleaning of console and up to 2 controllers
for SNES, 1 controller for N64. We’ll get it working better than the
first day you got it!
N64 Controller Repair: $10*
These take some finesse and a little bit more care than your average controller.
Thumbstick Repair: $20
Hey, got any broken Old School Nintendo items laying around the house? Don’t throw them out. We’ll by
them! $5 for consoles and $1 for broken controllers (Nintendo brand only), leftover A/V
Hookups and A/C Adapters!
Game Battery Replacement: $20**
Is your classic game not saving your data anymore? We can can fix that!
*Denotes down payment for labor, but
not replacement parts cost. Final cost may be higher due to parts
involved in attempt to repair. We do not offer a/v hookups or a/c adapters. Most repairs will take 5 working days but may take up 10
working days due to part availability. Quoted payment is for services to
attempt a full repair only and does not guarantee a full repair can be
made. Hey, sometimes broken things just can’t be fixed! Quoted payment
is nonrefundable. Sorry we do not repair or offer parts for disc consoles or handheld games.
** Battery may have to be special ordered and will take up to 15 working days to install (due to part wait time and soldering involved).
All Items must be picked up within 30 days. After 30 days, items are deemed abandoned and will become sole property of Rusty Quarters.
